Special General Meeting

A special General Meeting was held in the Club House on Monday 26th November 2007.

The purpose of the Special General Meeting was to consider a report of the “Way Ahead Business Development Sub-Committee”, which had previously been agreed unanimously by the General Committee, and to vote on the following resolution:

“That the General Committee is empowered to proceed with Phase 1 of the recommendation of the Business Development Sub-Committee report, subject to obtaining final costings and securing affordable funding arrangements and to establish a Funding Committee to raise funds for further developments in keeping with the “Way Ahead” document circulated in December 2006.”

The motion was to accept the resolution was proposed by R Corry seconded by A Orr.  The motion was passed with a considerable majority.
