OFFICERS OF THE DAY

It is the responsibility of the owner(s) of the boats listed as O.O.D. to arrange a substitute if they cannot attend. If a representative of the boat does not appear by 1800 on weekdays or 1400 on Saturdays, it will become the responsibility of that boat's class to provide a substitute.

Any O.O.D. being unsure of his/her duties should contact his/her Class Secretary or the Hon. Sailing Secretary.

OOD’S must at all times consider the safety of sailors when performing their duties.  The decision whether to race is yours dependant on weather conditions and available safety craft.

N.B.  Events in brackets are NOT under the RNIYC Burgee.
