Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club is a Recognised Teaching Establishment (RTE). As such it is permitted to run RYA Courses using qualified RYA Instructors.

The club has several Dinghy, Powerboat and Senior Instructors and qualified powerboat drivers.       more info...

Cadet Sailing Courses 2008

Beginners Course 1

(FULLY BOOKED)

Monday 30th June - Friday 4th July

For beginners aged 8 and over.  Aimed at complete beginners and those from last year’s course hoping to achieve RYA stage 3.

This course will be taught in the club toppers and cadets own boats.  The main objective is to teach the beginner to sail independently in winds up to a force 3.  Most sailors should achieve RYA stage 1-2.  A few may achieve stage 3.
