Here is some useful information for your visit to our clubhouse. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Our club house is located half way between Belfast and Bangor on the shores of Belfast Lough just outside Holywood.
For local accommodation visit Discover Northern Ireland, North Down Tourism or contact the Tourist Information Centre, Bangor on 028 9127 0069. The closest towns to Royal North are Holywood, Crawfordsburn and Bangor.
Competitors are asked to be considerate to our neighbours both when parking near driveways etc and when leaving the club after a nights revelry.

Taxis will generally come to pick-up fares at the pedestrian gate at the front of the clubhouse. It is advisable to be standing there waiting or to keep a very good watch for your taxis arrival.
For that all important cash there are ATM’s at the BP and Maxol Filling Stations on the Main Road into Holywood and several in Holywood High Street.
The nearest Chandler is McCready Sailboats (028 90421821) in Holywood.
Club member Robert Hastings owns “Bosun Bob’s Chandlery” in Bangor (028 9122 9532) and has been know to make deliveries after hours.
Acceptance of Euro
The club will accept Euro (notes only) but since the rate is not easily convertible you may find it beneficial to deal in Sterling.
Bar Staff & Catering
Our staff are ready to serve you and make sure you are well supplied with that all-important liquid so essential to all sailing debriefs and plans of action for the next day.
Our Caterers are Charthouse Catering, superbly and efficiently run by Christine. She and her team will be under tremendous pressure to feed all you hungry sailors during any event and we are confident you will not only find the food of the highest standard but the service will be friendly and helpful.
