We are delighted to announce an extra week of sailing commencing 10th August.
Our “finale” week is for those cadets (initially members only) who wish to complete their RYA Dinghy Start Racing and also their AI initial training.
The week will provide excellent sailing sessions for pods of 6 cadets with fully qualified instructors to ensure all attendees will gain experience on the water while adhering to government restrictions for Covid -19.
To make an online booking please access the required sessions from the links below;
Assistant Instructor 2 Day Session 13th – 14th August, 10 am until 4.00 pm. Cost £60
(Please note the AI course will need to be followed up next year with 1 weeks volunteering at one of the courses).
The sessions are designed so that your child is not at the club premises longer than necessary. All Children are required to come to the club dressed in all the appropriate wet gear for the day. Full-fingered sailing gloves are required by all sailors. Towels and warm jackets, water, snack and packed lunch (to be consumed outside) are recommended to be included in their bags.
There will be no access to the club house for showers, changing rooms etc. Toileting will be provided, this will be one child at a time.
You can book the appropriate sessions on the website. Do not book if your child is not happy or confident to sail on their own.
No child will be allowed to stay and wait outside of the hours of sailing.
Our policy is no refunds unless we have a full week of no sailing due to exceptionally windy weather. Parents/guardians of cadets sailing are required to be contactable at all times during these sessions.
If you are unable to book the session you want please email the office firstname.lastname@example.org Further groups can be added to most sessions if there is sufficient demand.
