|In these unprecedented times we must do everything we can to protect each other, our staff and ourselves from the enormous risk this pandemic poses. |
In line with Government’s three-week lockdown directive issued last night, the Committee has no option but to close all our facilities: Clubhouse, sheds and yards with immediate effect and until further notice.
Opening Day will be postponed and we hope to reorganise a date later in the year and following guidance. All other planned events will be kept under review as circumstances change.
Our staff will be on furlough until restrictions are lifted. The exception is our Club Manager, Leigh, who will work from home to provide continuity of administrative support. Leigh will deal with members’ emails and phone calls and refer any matters to officers should the need arise.
Our sincere thanks go to all our staff for their support, patience and understanding in these very difficult times. We wish them and their families well and look forward to having them all back with us as soon as possible.
We will keep you informed as things evolve and thank you all for your continued understanding and support.
Please be safe, your welfare is important to us all.
